The school day begins at 8:25 with daily prayer.

Children are admitted to the school building as early as 8:00 AM wherein they will gather in the supervised cafeteria.

The first bell rings at 8:15 AM dismissing them to the classroom teacher.  All children should be in their homeroom class by the start of prayer at 8:25.

The school day ends at 3:00 PM.  The day finishes with school wide prayer before dismissal is announced.

Children are dismissed to either car rider line, after-school care (ABC Care),or bus line. All car riders remain in supervised classrooms until their name is called, wherein they are dismissed to the car rider line.

St. John Pre-K program runs in two sessions.  The morning session M-F runs 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM. The afternoon session M,W,F, runs from 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM.

St. John school uses the Carroll County Buses from West Middle School.  We do not provide direct bus transportation to and from St. John School. Please contact the school office for information on using the Carroll County buses.

Security at St. John School is a high priority.  All volunteers and visitors must be admitted to the building by office personnel.  Upon entering the building, all parents, visitors, and volunteers must check in at the office and secure a visitor badge which must be worn at all times while in the building.  All volunteers must  participate in STAND volunteer training and be reviewed by school personnel.  Students are supervised by school teachers and staff at all times during the school day.
